I had the distinct pleasure a little less than a year ago to learn about Aaron Marcus through an acquaintance in the radio broadcast industry in Atlanta. Through initial phone conversation, Aaron understood my needs in marketing my 10 year old son, a budding actor in the Atlanta area, and my 12 year old daughter and 14 year old son who have expressed interest in modeling. As a succinct communicator, Aaron effectively delivered tips for the headshots and resume for the actor by reviewing and providing revision suggestions for his current headshot and resume. For my two older children, Aaron explained the basics of the modeling “comp card”–goals for the photoshoot, not so much with emphasis on apparel and camera angles (as I had initially thought was of primary concern), but rather of varied facial expression and props to coincide, keeping in mind that commercial and print modeling is for the purpose of selling a product, whether it be tutoring center services or medicinal treatments. He REALLY opened my eyes to look through the lens of the product manufacturer or service provider. Aaron also created realistic expectations for the launch of my children’s talents and interests, primarily to not take rejection personally, and also etiquette in declining those multiple offers by different agents for the same job opportunity.
Although I am still fine tuning the marketing of my children’s talents, through trial and error, the foundational principles I learned from Aaron are constant. The knowledge I gained in a single introductory private session with Aaron was and is priceless.

Aaron,that was a very thoughtful message. I served in the Navy for 20 years. Military personnel sacrifice so much for their country. We serve because it’s an honor to serve. It is an honor say I am a veteran. Many thanks to your dad for his service. And thank you for expressing your appreciation.
Thank you for the note. I have heard some people say that on Memorial day, we should not be thanking those who have served but only have the day as one to remember those who have died. I guess I felt different, and feel so thankful to those who have made such tremendous sacrifices for themselves and their families, so that is why I decided to thank all Veterans.
